This paper examines the efforts of international communities to support the Palestinian people and protect Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa from Israeli occupation. Indonesia has consistently supported the Palestinian struggle, aligning with United Nations Security Council (UNSC) Resolution No. 338 (1973), which calls for the unconditional return of all Arab territories occupied by Israel and recognises the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Al-Quds in East Jerusalem as its capital. This qualitative study draws data from document analysis to explore Indonesia's role in this cause. The findings reveal that Indonesia has engaged in public diplomacy through major organisations such as Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah. The Indonesian government also encourages support from various societal sectors, including community organisations, educational institutions, and non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Indonesia is urged to continue its advocacy for the Palestinian people and the protection of Al-Aqsa Mosque across local, national, and global platforms.
