Köroğlu (Turkmen: Görogly) is the city that is the center of the Köroğlu district of the Daşoğuz province of Turkmenistan. As of 2010, the city's population was 18,660.
During the Soviet period, Köroğlu was known by the name Tahta (Tagta). In 2002 it took its present name in honor of the Epic of Köroğlu. In 2016 it received city status.
